Minor 7th Inversion Chord

šŸŽµ While the chord tones are the same as a root position minor 7th, using an inversion (putting the 3rd, 5th, or 7th in the bass) changes the chord's stability and direction. Useful for creating smooth basslines, adding variation, or emphasizing different chord tones. Still carries the cool, mellow feel of the m7.

Also abbreviated as: m7min7mi7-7

With all 4 notes and C as bass, it is also: C-7Cm7Cmin7D#(add6)/CD#6/CD#M6/CEb(add6)/CEb6/CEbM6/C

Contains intervals: 1P3m5P7m
